Yes

Percentage of employees (staff and faculty) assessed, directly or by representative sample (0-100):
100

A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:

As part of the development of the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, Polytechnique mandated CIRANO to support the Director of Strategy in a neutral, independent and transparent way in the community consultation process. This accompaniment consisted in:
-designing the process and developing consultation tools;
-advising on the strategy of support, commitment and promotion of the process;
-conducting the consultation process itself; and
-analyzing the results.

Surveys were sent on-line; small focus groups were also organized, where participants could give feedback on the current situation at Polytechnique and where suggestions for the future could be shared.

The consultation took place during the months of April and May, 2018. The results of this consultation were analysed during the summer of 2018.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):

The new strategic plan was presented on October 17, 2018. It was decided that work groups involving employees would be created. These groups will be mandated to identify the priorities, actions, indicators and targets for each of the twelve development areas. On March 4th, 2019, a presentation was made to all employees to keep them informed of the progress made by the different work groups.
