Yes

A brief description of the student research program, including the incentives provided and any positive outcomes during the previous three years:

Since 2015, the Trottier Scholarship Program (by Polytechnique's Institut de l'énergie Trottier - Trottier Energy Institute) has been aiming to encourage the training of a new generation of scientists and innovators with a systemic understanding of the technological, economic and social challenges our society faces on energy-related issues.

It is intended for students from any of the three institutions of Campus Montreal (Polytechnique Montréal, HEC Montréal, University of Montreal) who are beginning a graduate-level program in a field of research compatible with the Insitute's mission, namely, the development of sustainable solutions to ensure the energy future of our society.

Four scholarships are generally awarded each year. This number may vary according to the number and quality of the applications submitted.

The maximum annual amount of the scholarship depends on the program:
- Master's (research): $ 12,500 / year
- Doctorate: $ 16,000 / year
At least $ 5,000 must be supplemented by the research supervisor.
