Does the institution offer at least one immersive, sustainability-focused educational study program that is one week or more in length?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:

Polytechnique's International Committee for Overseas Projects (CIPO) is a student committee founded in 1991. It annually sends a team consisting of 6 to 10 students to participate in the funding and implementation of an international cooperation project. Projects last between 12 and 15 weeks and are done in conjunction with a host community. Teams are supported by hundreds of former members and by many stakeholders involved in international cooperation. Pre-project training includes modules on all three dimensions of sustainable development, with a focus on social and governance issues. Furthermore, to ensure that their overseas project is credited as one of their mandatory internships, participants must follow a course ("The Engineer in International Development Projects") where they must formally reflect on the the social, economic and environmental dimensions of their projects.

The Polytechnique Montreal chapter of Engineers Without Borders Canada (EWB) also offers an overseas placement program every year. This placement requires that students assess the impacts of their projects on all three dimensions of sustainable development, sustainability being one of the pillars of EWB's overseas interventions.
