A brief description of the time period from which the figures reported above are drawn (i.e. one-year time period or representative sample):

Data provided here are for financial year 2014-2015.

For its annual Sustainable Development reports, Polytechnique Montréal's Sustainable Office team has been keeping track, as an indicator, of the number of sheets of letter paper (format 8.5 x 11) used per financial year. This data collection also measures the post-consumer recycled content of paper used at Polytechnique. When looking at the quantity of office paper bought by Polytechnique, letter-sized paper represents around 90% of 2014-2015 orders It was thus decided that the data for this format of paper will be considered as a representative sample for this criteria.
