Part 1. Hazardous waste minimization and disposal

Yes

A brief description of steps taken to reduce hazardous, special (e.g. coal ash), universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:
Pitzer has contracted with North State Environmental, an environmental services company to pick-up the College's hazardous waste on a quarterly basis. Additionally, lab waste is picked up by a certified company through our science division.

Pitzer has contracted with an environmental services company, to pick-up the College's hazardous waste on a quarterly basis. Additionally, construction hazardous waste remediation and disposal is done by B2 Environmental.

Pitzer College has not had any hazardous materials release incidents during the previous 3 year.

Pitzer is contracted with Greenway Solid Waster & Recycling, an environmental services company to pick-up the College's electronic waste on a quarterly basis. Pitzer has established an E-Waste Recycling Center for students, staff and faculty in both the Atherton mail room and in Scott Hall.
