Area is maintained organically by implementing an IPM program that uses chemicals as a last resort. The drought tolerant nature of the majority of our landscape services us well in terms of pest management but our first step is to identify the species that is causing the disruption and remove the food source if possible to divert the pest. we also maintain our grounds in accordance with organic land care standards and sustainable landscape management concepts.

Pest management strategies include education, exclusion, sanitation, maintenance, biological and mechanical controls, and pre-approved, site-appropriate pesticides.

2. Estimate pest populations a nd compare to established action thresholds.
3. Select the appropriate management tactics based on current on-site information.
