Pitzer is situated adjacent to 7 other colleges in what is called the Claremont Consortium. I personally have mentored other sustainability leaders in the consortium and others have mentored me as well. It is mutual

A brief description of other inter-campus collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year :

Currently we are collaborating with the other colleges on a business interruption protocol in case our electricity goes down, but also on our green bike program, our energy reduction program entitled power down which is a collective effort amongst all the colleges. Also the office of sustainability take part in regular meetings with sustainability staff from the surrounding colleges to advance sustainability in the region.
