In 2011 PSU created a new 10 Year Physical Campus Plan which considered sustainability in all aspects of the plan including but not limited to the use of LEED Silver standards for new buildings, green space, remodeling existing buildings to meet classroom needs instead of new buildings, and energy efficiency improvements.
