As a socially responsible organization which recognizes there are limited and finite resources in the world, Pittsburg State University is committed to establishing practices to conserve energy and resources as well as decrease the universitiy's carbon footprint. While there are and have been practices already within the campus to conserve energy and resources it is the intent of the university by the establishment of this university committee to enhance current sustainability efforts.
Purpose: The committee develops and monitors the implementation of the institution's sustainability plan.
