A brief description of steps taken to reduce hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:
PSU utilizes Federal, State, Local, and internal policy's and procedures to safely dispose of all hazardous, universal and non-regulated waste and continuously seeks alternative methods/materials to minimize the presence of these materials on campus. Please reference Kansas Department of Health and Environment web-based link "Hazardous Waste Generator Handbook".
A brief description of how the institution safely disposes of hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:
PSU utilizes Kansas Department of Administration approved contractors to safely dispose of hazardous, universal and non-regulated chemical waste. Please reference Kansas Department of Health and Environment web-based link Kansas Department of Administration Contract Number: 12458AB "Master Contract".
