A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
PSU has a full time building trades and housing maintenance staff which conducts routine maintenance for all systems which impact indoor air quality ex( HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc). PSU also has a full time Environmental Officer which conducts routine building inspections, responds to complaints concerning air quality and directs corrective and preventive actions as necessary for air quality issues. PSU laborotories containing fume hoods are routinely inspected for adequate air velocity and whenever work has been performed on a hood system. PSU utilizes both internal and external experts to assess and correct any issues concerning indoor air quality. All PSU faculty, students and staff have access to the web-based Physical Plant "General Work Order" system for registering complaints.
