The Office of Informational Technology Services at Penn State Behrend takes environmental and social responsibility very seriously as demonstrated by our focused and intentional purchases of highly rated sustainability standard equipment. Since the hiring of our Director of Sustainability in 2019 and awareness of the inclusion of Electronics purchasing in campus sustainability assessment we have intentionally flipped our purchases from EPEAT Silver to EPEAT Gold as compared to our prior submission.
