The EH&S department provides training on hazardous material disposal and chemical pickups. In addition, the EH&S department is responsible for emergency spill response and assistance with shipping hazardous materials, regulatory reporting and emergency response capabilities.

The EH&S department utilizes an outside subcontractor to remove and dispose of hazardous materials weekly. The EH&S Technician works with departments across the district to educate, support, and collect materials for packing and offloading.

No incidents resulting in a release of hazardous materials.
