Environmental walking tour discusses the LEED and sustainability design aspect of the buildings, plant selection in the landscape and how improper selection of plants can affect the immediate environment, as well as its potential effect on the broader environment, pollinators and how important insect diversity is, water usage in the landscape and the importance of proper planting and irrigation design to minimize water waste, and how landscape design can affect stormwater and how best to manage and mitigate storm water runoff.
