Which of the following best describes the institution’s approach to rainwater management?:
Less comprehensive policies, plans or guidelines that incorporate green infrastructure

A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
HPC campus has 2 x 10,000 gallon rainwater collection cisterns and 1x 500 gallon immediate use holding tank; all bathroom and landscaping water comes from rainwater collection system, covers water use 70% of the year, more than 100,000 gallons collected annually. 30% of the time= city water (tied into the same system for whenever it is needed). FG has same similar cistern systems for FG LEED buildings (Library, Berglund, Gilbert) In addition, stormwater landscaping is an explicit part of Pacific University's Landscape Master Plan (2010).

Outside of the reclamation systems we have many water quality systems in place such as bio swales and storm water catch basins and filters. We work closely with Clean Water Services and the City of Forest Grove.
