A brief description of the program:
Voyages - "A Pacific University Voyage is a pre-Orientation program designed to help you create lasting friendships and facilitate personal growth before your classes even begin. The trips are four to five days in length and provide students with the opportunity to meet their classmates and professors in a new experience, build personal skills, challenge their limits and experience adventure. Following the Voyage program there are 8 short, 1-credit weekly seminars helping you build on your experience in the outdoors. Both freshmen and transfer students are invited to this experience!"
Pacific's Outback - "Pacific University’s Outback program desires to serve the entire campus community by creating off-campus activities suitable for the enjoyment of everyone. Whether it’s outdoor wilderness adventures, urban programs, or service-oriented outings, the Outback hopes to fulfill the needs of all students. These programs, initiated and often led by students, encourage personal challenge, community responsibility, cultural diversity and respect for the natural world."
