A brief description of the event(s):
In honor of Earth Week 2011, Pacific University presented a variety of events beginning Sunday, April 17 and concluding on Saturday, April 23. Most events were free and open to the public.
Included was a visit from renowned philosopher Noam Chomsky on April 20 and a lecture from Rose Tocke who presented “Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature” on April 19 as a part of the Whiteley Lecture Series.
Other events were week-long, such as the Staff Mini Conference “Greening Pacific from the Inside Out” which took place each weekday in the Pulse from 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
