A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:
PLU is the 2010 host of the South Sound Sustainability Summit and Expo. This has required partnering with local green organizations as well as local schools to hold this event. We have been in personal contact with the organizations and other educational institutions in order to make it happen.
Additionally, all student sustainability fellowships are funded by local organizations invested in going green.
