A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
There are various kinds of student groups (all advised by a staff or faculty member) that are dedicated to educating other students about diversity at PLU. Two of the most prominent groups are the Residence Hall Associations Sustainability Director (and committee), and the Associated Students of Pacific Lutheran University (student government) equivalents. Their primary responsibility is to program events that address issues of difference and social justice.
