The sustainability office is housed within the Facilities Department, but is tasked with sustainability issues concerning the campus as a whole. The office consists of one full time position (Sustainability coordinator), with up to three student intern positions.

The Sustainability Resource Coordinator works to integrate sustainability values and practices into the everyday life of the University and to maintain PLU as a leader in sustainability in higher education. The sustainability coordinator develops and implements energy conservation actions to meet the President’s Climate Commitment.
