A brief description of the trayless dining program:
In 2007, the main dining hall on campus switched to trays that were half the size of the original ones with the intention of limiting excess food waste. Trays are an option for students. Additionally, the dining hall is the only one that has trays at all. The bakery, cafes, and market do not have trays as an option.
