A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):
Counseling - Counseling is a process that helps people work out personal, academic, or vocational problems. The professional staff at the Counseling Center at Pace University is available to assist students, staff, and faculty in the resolution of these problems. Through this process, people often gain increased awareness, independence, and effectiveness in the pursuit of personal goals. These services are available free of charge to members of the Pace community.

Pace University values the physical and emotional health and well-being of our faculty and staff and strives to promote a healthy work environment. The University believes that being healthy in the best way possible makes your work life more productive and satisfying. The University’s wellness programs are designed to encourage all faculty, staff and students to live healthier lifestyles and create a culture of health throughout the campus. Many of the University’s wellness programs either have no cost or reward participation in cash.
They include:
• Flu Shots - free on-campus (medical plan participants only); also available for free at a variety of retail locations
• Preventive Care Incentive Program - get up to $240 for annual physical and other wellness exams
• Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies! - get up to $150 for joining; 24/7 support and education for expectant mothers
• Wellness Wednesdays - healthy food options at all University eateries which can earn faculty, staff and students free meals
