The Sustainability Office was created in 2018 and in that short time it has reduced GHG emissions by 25% through the use of effective BMS scheduling while buildings are unoccupied.

Additionally during this time water usage has curtailed by over 10%, partially due to a simple air conditioning upgrade that saves 1.2 Million Gallons of Water per year.

The office also applies for incentives for energy efficiency projects and just recently received $87,000 for a chiller upgrade, as well as incentives for an LED lighting retrofit that will save 400,000 kWh in 2020.

Finally, the office was also successful in applying for a grant that will fund the development of a Climate Action Plan that will put Pace on the path to carbon neutrality.
