Our Pleasantville campus has 25 acres of land dedicated to wetlands preservation which includes the wildlife residing in these areas.
In addition, the Environmental Center plants and maintains gardens that are beneficial to wildlife (birds, butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, etc.). The Center maintains a nature trail, and supplements its surroundings with bird boxes to promote bird nesting. The area is certified as a "Backyard Wildlife Habitat" (Cert. No. 34676) through the National Wildlife Federation's program.
The other campuses within the boundary of this report are urban campuses, therefore, the programs listed here are at the Pleasantville (suburban) campus.
