A brief description of the student sustainability research program:

Students enrolled in Professor Toomey's Sustainability on Campus class conduct a semester long sustainability research project. Some of these research projects become actionable programs here at Pace.

A brief description of the faculty sustainability research program:

The Pace Academy for Applied Environmental Studies' university-wide Faculty Scholars Program promotes the application of research and scholarship to pedagogy, service, and policy that advances a mutually enhancing relationship between humans and nature.

GOALS
• Support faculty involved in interdisciplinary, environmentally themed scholarship, pedagogy, policy development and service.

• Promote and connect the talent of faculty working collaboratively across disciplines at Pace University.

• Create and sustain a community of faculty scholars from diverse perspectives.

• Foster faculty-student research and scholarship.

• Encourage scholarly activity that advances the level and sophistication of environmental studies at Pace University.
