Pace’s pledge is purely voluntary and all graduating students (whether walking in commencement or not) are invited to sign the pledge (undergraduate, graduate, law).
2009 was the inaugural year of the Graduation Pledge of Social and Environmental Responsibility at Pace University. More than 700 students - undergraduate, graduate, and law - took the pledge, and in 2010, more than 1,300 members of the The Class of 2010 signed the Graduation Pledge.
