In an effort to assess the current attitudes towards diversity at Pace University among students, staff and faculty, the Office of Multicultural Affairs/NYC disseminated the Diversity Campus Climate Survey during January-March 2010. This endeavor was the culmination of a 2-year process whereby staff and faculty worked on the development of this assessment tool.

A brief description of how the results of the assessment(s) are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:

The survey was administered electronically via Pace email; the results are being used to improve upon existing services and to guide future programming. For example we are using this survey by sponsoring a Not in My Backyard program university wide. We also have an active GLBTQA task force and the results of the survey is helping us plan programs and service for these populations.
