Examples of CIR actions during the previous three years:
Though the Committee has not recently taken (nor been asked to consider) any major action, Foundation staff and fund managers continue to monitor and make available the fossil fuel free endowment option put in place for donors following Committee and Board action in 2016. Further, the Foundation has taken action to support the university's sustainability efforts with fundraising that ranges from crowdfunding projects through the annual fund and support for climate science research, to larger initiatives such as the recently completed $10 million fundraising project to support the construction of a net-zero energy-ready building for OSU’s branch campus.
