A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
OSU has begun conducting annual campus climate surveys that include questions about employee satisfaction, employee advancement opportunities and work culture. While the surveys are not mandatory, the response rate is high.
These annual surveys are set in motion by OSU leadership and conducted by the Office of Equity and Inclusion.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
Findings from the campus climate surveys will be used to inform actions by the
Leadership Council for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity, OSU leadership and Office of Equity and Inclusion to make OSU a more welcoming place and provide a more satisfying work experience for all OSU employees. Specific response mechanisms are being refined during FY14.
