A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:
For junior/senior/transfer students who want an apartment style living option without having to live off campus, OSU offers apartment-style assignments in Halsell Hall. Anyone can choose to live in a room or suite with anyone else. Gender Inclusive Living allows same-gender roommates, opposite-gender roommates, or other gender-identity roommate pairings, regardless of physical sex. To clarify the OSU approach, gender identities are numerous and include man, woman, and transgender, among many others. This living environment can accommodate students who desire to live with friends and family, regardless of gender, and was supported by an ASOSU proposal asking for gender inclusive housing options.
