A brief description of steps the institution has taken to ensure that the purchasing policy, directives, or guidelines are followed :
Printing and Mailing Services has been a strong advocate for sustainability practices for many years. We do not stock any virgin papers and only purchase them as a special order item. We partner with FSC certified offset printers and the majority of the jobs we project manage are printed with the logo indicating it was produced in an FSC print shop and at the very least on recycled stock. Several times over the past five years we have offered 100% recycled stock for the same price as 30% recycled stock in a partnership with Business Services helping with the difference in price.
