A brief summary of papers, guides, presentations, and other resources the institution has developed to share their sustainability experience with other institutions:

The Oregon Renewable Energy Center Program Coordinator and Sustainability Coordinator at OIT assisted in coordinating both the 2008 and the 2011 Oregon University System Sustainability Conferences, which brought together students, faculty, and administrators from all the 7 Oregon public universities as well as members of the State Board of Higher Education.

OIT also participates in the Oregon University System Sustainability Officers Network. Through regular phone meetings, this group shares ideas and resources to work toward sustainable campuses and a sustainable university system.


A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

OIT is also participating in a new consortia of Pacific Northwest community college and university sustainability coordinators. The group as of yet does not have an official name, but regular phone meeting times have been established. The group's purpose is to share resources and ideas to make campuses more sustainable as well as to put students from differenct campuses working on sustainability in touch with each other.
