A brief description of the composting or mulching program:
The mower used by facilities mulches grass clippings as it cuts. Some weeds on hills get weed-wacked and are left in place to prevent erosion of the hillsides. Piles of leaves, pine needles, and small branches are composted with dirt and turned by a backhoe.
