- Buildings must follow Energy Star compliance (find link to energy star purchasing policy)
- Night cut backs are used for air handling systems
- Occupancy sensors are used in offices and classrooms throughout campus
- Green cleaning products (Green Seal, etc.) are used throughout the Klamath Falls Campus
- Recycling practices throughout Klamath Falls Campus include separating cardboard and paper from plastics and metal to ensure that each is more effectively recycled. Paper and cardboard are recycled through REACH. For more information on REACH, see http://www.reach-recycling.org/default.asp

Elegible Building Square Footage includes the Klamath Falls and Portland Campuses in FY 2010. This square footage includes the following buildings: Portland West (Amberglen), Portland East, Boivin, Center for Health Professions, College Union, Cornett, Facilities Services, Residence Hall, Library, Owens Hall, Physical Ed Bldg, Purvine Hall, Semon Hall, Snell Hall, Student Village (bldgs 1, 2, and 3), University Advancement. It does NOT include Moehl Stadium or Miscellaneous Bldgs (Archives, Security/Info Booth, Heat Exchange bldg).
The building space that is maintained under sustainabile guidelines includes most of the buildings on the Klamath Falls Campus.
