RE Students: The College has several programs in place to recruit students from underrepresented groups. These include visits to inner-city high schools, summer programming for inner-city youths, and advertising financial aid programs in local news papers.
RE Staff and/or Faculty: The college recruits using various methods including online ads, but we do use specific ones that do target different areas of applicants like veterans, disabled applicants, and different underrepresented groups.

A brief description of the institution’s programs to support students, staff and/or faculty from underrepresented groups:
STUDENTS: The Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) provides numerous services and accommodations for students with documented disabilities who need assistance with educational, physical and/or program accommodations while pursuing their education. Services are available at all SUNY Orange sites. To become eligible for services, students must meet with a Disability Specialist, complete an intake application for OAS, and provide qualified medical and/or psychological documentation of their disabilities. Services are designed to accommodate the limitations of the disability and are approved on an individual basis, as well as reevaluated each semester. OAS is also available for consultations, training and assistance to faculty, staff, and outside agencies.
