A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs and initiatives:
Every three years, the college administers a Faculty and Staff Opinion Survey. This is an internally developed survey administered to all faculty and staff, including part-time. The results of the survey are compiled by the IR Office. Results are first presented to Cabinet by which each Division of the college is tasked with reviewing the results and developing recommendations for improvement within the survey areas, such as communication, professional development, etc. Results are also shared college-wide during meetings; all results are accessible via the shared drives of the college. Information from the survey assists the college in accreditation activities as well as informs the strategic planning process. Additionally, the college, as per Title IX, has administered the Climate Survey/Sexual Violence Prevention Survey. Results are analyzed by the Affirmative Action Officer and Human Resources. Again, they are presented to Cabinet by which areas needing to be addressed are identified and action steps implemented. NOTE - The college has participated in four (4) administrations of the CCSSE - Community College Survey of Student Engagement. Within this instrument, questions about diversity, inclusion, etc. are asked of students.
