SUNY Orange's Biology Club is involved in Sustainability on campus. The club consists of 10-15 students who plan and participate in campus clean-up events. In addition they are promoting recycling and waste reduction, and are involved in the planning of Earth Day each year. In addition the Outdoors Club engage in environmental issues as well as arrange "leave no trace behind" hikes and outings.

The SUNY Orange Biology Club sponsors hiking trips each year.

During the Fall 2017 semester a series of 12 lectures on Climate Change was presented to students and employees. They featured presenters from various departments of the College and included Biology, Global Studies, English, and the Office of Sustainability.

The Educational Garden project allows students to participate in various gardening activities throughout the year.

Students also participate actively in the TerraCycle program on campus. Additionally, students are an integral part of our annual Earth Day events, including planning, presenting and working as volunteers during the events.
