A brief description of active student groups focused on sustainability:

SUNY Orange's Biology Club is involved in Sustainability on campus. The club consists of 10-15 students who plan and participate in campus clean-up events. In addition they are promoting recycling and waste reduction, and are involved in the planning of Earth Day each year. In addition the Outdoors Club engage in environmental issues as well as arrange "leave no trace behind" hikes and outings.

SUNY Orange's Cultural Affairs presents a variety of programming including lectures and exhibits on Sustainability related topics. Examples include:

-Technology as Responsibility: Failure, Food Animals, and Laboratory Grown Meat

During the Fall 2017 semester a series of 12 lectures on Climate Change was presented to students and employees. They featured presenters from various departments of the College and included Biology, Global Studies, English, and the Office of Sustainability.
