A brief description of the institution’s participation in federal TRIO programs:
TRIO serves 232 students annually; it has existed at SUNY Orange since 1993. TRIO serves low income and first generation college students by providing a wide range of academic and personal support activities. The program waives tutorial fees for TRIO participants, provides peer mentoring, financial literacy/ financial aid counseling, scholarship application assistance, academic counseling/ skills workshops, and personal and career counseling.
