A brief description of steps taken to reduce hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:

Academic departments where hazadous chemicals are used have been advised to porperly dispose of older and non essential chemicals. Now, only small quantities are being purchased as needed. Chemicals used for custodial purposes are now dispensed using a calibrated pump to ensure that only the recommended amounts are used.
