The Office of Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability at Ontario Tech University. Our mission is to develop and support sustainability initiatives, apply best practices during infrastructure planning, and create a sustainability culture for the university's staff, students and faculty.

A brief description of the activities and substantive accomplishments of the institution-wide coordinating body or officer during the previous three years:

The Asset and Sustainability Planner actively builds community partnerships, overseeing the student-Blue Team and Chairing the Ontario Tech U Sustainability Committee which has a large sustainability reach throughout campus, between student life, academics and engagement both on campus and in the community. Activities include creating on and off campus sustainability initiatives (energy related projects include LED retrofits, documenting and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, and collaborating campus-wide on sustainability strategies and practices- campus cleanup events, tree planting, and waste awareness programs).
