Collaboration between various departments and faculties on campus as well as feedback from provincial sustainability professionals group. Survey examples from STARs were also referred to.

A brief description of how a representative sample was reached (if applicable) and how the assessment(s) were administered :
The survey was emailed to the entire undergraduate student population and it was open for a span of 2 weeks.

A post-survey assessment is scheduled to be conducted in April

A brief summary of results from the literacy assessment(s):
- 90.6% of respondents knew that the majority of endangered species are at risk due to habitat loss and introduction of non-native species
- 77.6% of respondents understood the term carbon footprint
- 47.1% understood the term environmental racism
- 84.7% understood why locally grown food is more sustainable
