The Varsity teams and staff strive to include sustainability in their activities; teams are encouraged to carpool and use a rented bus for games to reduce the amount of single-occupancy vehicles traveling. Sustainability-related announcements are made at a variety of games, some messaging includes reducing waste and single use items by bringing reusable water bottles and using large water coolers, carpooling, recycling, etc.
In 2018, Artificial Infill Turf replaced the grass soccer fields on campus; this eliminated the use of water and chemicals that was used to water and maintain the fields. The Vaso's Fields was the first in Canada to have this new product. Back in 2016, the Campus Tennis Center was converted into a multi-sport turf facility.
