Bachelor of Engineering Degree: Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering, Nuclear Engineering and Software Engineering programs requires students to complete SSCI 1470U – Impact of Science and Technology on Society (sustainability focused course) http://calendar.uoit.ca/preview_program.php?catoid=22&poid=4250&returnto=891

Bachelor of Science: Biological Science Program: https://science.ontariotechu.ca/biological-science/index.php
Students can complete their studies through the Biological Science program, or they can choose one of several specializations: Environmental Biology, Environmental Toxicology, Life Science and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Our undergraduate courses give students many opportunities to experience biology first hand through lab and field activities using cutting-edge technology. It focuses on understanding life on earth: what life is, how it originated, how it changes over time, and how it influences and is influenced by the surrounding environment
- General program requires completion of BIOL 4080U Bioethics Course and Specialization programs requires completion of ENVS 1000U – Environmental Science (both sustainability focused courses)

Bachelor of Health Sciences and Applied Health Sciences: Requires completion of HLSC 1810U Social Determinants of Health (sustainability focused course)

Policies in Sustainability (POSC 3303U) and Building Sustainable Communities (POSC 3300U) are required for the Minor In Sustainability Studies

ENSY 3600U – Sustainable Energy Thesis Project I, ENSY 4610U – Community and Urban Design, ENSY 4600U – Sustainable Energy Thesis Project II required for Sustainable Energy Systems program (BTech)

There are a variety of sustainability focuses courses in Political Sciences and Social Sciences programs that are offered as electives, however not mandatory at this time.
