Bike racks are located across campus.
Shower facilities are in the campus recreation and wellness center.
Lockers are locally throughout DC and UOIT

A brief description of the bicycle parking and storage facilities:

Each building has a bike rack.
Bikes can be stored inside the residence buildings, in the basements, for students who wish.

CyclOn: Our organization consists of bike enthusiasts who intend to advocate for the use of bicycles to reduce carbonfootprint and encourage outdoor activities which will promote healthy living.
This will be great for holiday and weekend usage for people living on campus and off campus.

The club has 5 bicycles at the moment. The bikes are given to students who sign up for the program. They are responsible for the bikes and can keep them as long as they want. When they no longer need the bike, they return it to the school, and it will be given to a new student.

A bus pass is included in tuition for all full time students. This is offered at a discounted price. Bus's are easily accessible and come onto campus.

Because UOIT is a participating Smart Commute workplace, employees are eligible for Emergency Ride Home (ERH) reimbursement. If they have an unforeseen emergency on any day they use a sustainable method to commute to work, they can request reimbursement of up to $75 for their emergency transportation costs. They must retain all emergency transportation receipt(s)

Yes

A brief description of the carpool/vanpool program:

A professor at UOIT created a carpooling app for students and staff called Blancride. This safely connects riders and drivers to share a ride. The school also offers preferential parking spaces for car/vanpoolers at a reduced rate.

There are two Level 2 electric vehicle recharging stations located in a shared UOIT-DC parking lot outside of the SSB building at the front of the main campus.
