In the policy appendices - appendix 1 of the NUIG policy states:
“Ethical considerations - The University expects the managers of the portfolio to take into account best practice in terms of corporate governance and socially responsible investing (SRI) when assessing any individual investment. The managers of the portfolio are not permitted to invest in companies involved in alcohol, gambling, tobacco, armaments, adult entertainment and fossil fuels. ”
