A brief description of the source of non-potable water and how it is used:
Old Dominion University has 4 cisterns that collect rainwater to be used for watering beds and isolated planters throughout the campus. Two of the cisterns are underground and connected to irrigation systems at the SB Ballard Gameday building and Rosanne Runte Quad respectively.
