Times Higher Education Impact Rankings

A brief description of the institution’s featured program, initiative, or accomplishment:
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2021 Impact Rankings is the third edition and the overall ranking includes 1,118 universities from 94 countries/regions. OSU ranked #8 in the United States and 85th in the world.

Rankings:
- #4 in the United States for Clean Water and Sanitation, which measures how universities ensure access to water and sanitation.
- #2 in the US for Zero Hunger, which measures how universities contribute to ending hunger, achieving food security, and promoting sustainable agriculture.
- #6 in the US in Sustainable Cities and Communities. This assessment focuses on how universities strive to preserve and promote art, culture, and environment in their communities.
- #5 in Partnerships for the Goals. This goal emphasizes partnerships and collaborations when working towards achieving the other 16 SDGs.
- #36 among US academic institutions in terms of scholarly output related to SDG 2: No Hunger.
