Know Your No's

A brief description of the campaign:

A month-long campaign about the items that are not allowed in our recycling streams here on Campus. A four-part video series that provided super useful recycling and waste management information.


A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:

We have two recycling systems here on campus, these videos helped to distinguish the differences between the two systems. One being single stream and the other being dual stream. It also showed students where "not traditional" recycling bins could be found, such as the one for plastic bags.

America Recycles Day at OSU

A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):

Several student organizations joined the Sustainability Office for a multi-faceted America Recycles Day campaign that included exhibiting in front the of Student Union with various recycling displays, providing recycle aids as giveaways, conducting an online quiz, and reaching out to other students as well as faculty and staff to formally pledge to recycle more and recycle right on campus. Social media was used before, during, and after the main event to complement the campaign.


A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):
