A brief description of the minimum total compensation provided to the institution’s lowest paid employee or pay grade:
OSU’s base pay for regular employees is $10 per hour. In addition to this rate, employees receive a competitive benefits package. In addition to employer-subsidized group health insurance and employer-paid life insurance, employees receive at a minimum 14 days of annual leave, 22 days of sick leave and 12 paid holidays per year. Employees have the choice between a defined benefit plan (15.55% employer contribution) or defined contribution retirement plan (11% employer contribution). Neither retirement option requires an employee-match.
