The Diversity Advisory Board (DAB), which was established during the 1997-1998 academic year, consists of faculty, staff, and students who have been appointed by the President, Faculty Council, Staff Advisory Council, and the Vice President for Institutional Diversity. The general function of the Board is to advise the Director of Affirmative Action, the Vice President for Institutional Diversity, and/or the President in issues regarding diversity/affirmative action/equal opportunity for all persons on campus.

If trainings are made available, provide:
Seminars are conducted on a regular basis through Human Resources. They are open to faculty and staff, are at no cost to the individual, and may be counted toward certificate programs open to faculty and staff. Additionally, the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) trains incoming students during Camp Cowboy and provide seminars at most student orientation courses. Team members from the Division of Institution Diversity conduct seminars as requested by the OSU community.
